SMS Terms

Program name: HostHero Guest Notifications.

Program description: If you choose to be texted when you contact a host through HostHero, we text you a link back to that conversation when your host replies, and a confirmation that your message reached the host. These are conversational messages, not marketing.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on conversation activity.

Rates: Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out: Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and no further texts. If your mobile number is outside the United States, email support@hosthero.io to opt out.

Help: Reply HELP for help, or email support@hosthero.io.

Carrier liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent: Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Who is texting you

HostHero (hosthero.io). These texts carry a link back into your existing conversation — HostHero is the platform your host is using, not a separate service.

How guests opt in

Guests opt in on the HostHero guest chat page by ticking an unchecked checkbox and entering their mobile number. The screenshot below shows the live opt-in form, including the checkbox (unchecked by default), the full disclosure text shown beside it, and the privacy notice shown with it.
